Experiences and Side Effects with Fluorouracil 500mg/10ml Injection for Cancer Treatment
I've recently started using Fluorouracil 500mg/10ml Injection as part of my chemotherapy treatment for cancer. The medication is administered via injection into a vein, and it's supposed to stop the growth of cancer cells. However, I've been experiencing some side effects and I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues. Some of the more serious side effects, like allergic reactions and nervous system problems, are particularly concerning. I've also noticed some irritation at the injection site. Wondering if anyone else has had similar problems? Have you found any ways to manage these side effects effectively? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. The diarrhea was the worst for me. I had to carry around Imodium everywhere I went. It made trips to the grocery store a nightmare.

I'm on my fifth round of Fluorouracil and haven't had any major side effects yet. Knock on wood! Maybe I'm just lucky?
Have any of you tried acupuncture to help with the side effects? I've heard it can help with nausea and fatigue.
