Experiences and Side Effects with Adderall XR: Extended-Release Capsules for ADHD Treatment
I was recently prescribed Adderall XR for my ADHD and I've been experiencing some side effects that I'm not sure are normal. Has anyone else dealt with these issues? I feel like I'm constantly dizzy and I've been having trouble sleeping. I've read about the serious side effects, but I'm not sure if I'm overreacting. Are these common side effects or should I be worried? I've been taking 25mg. Also, how long does it typically take for the side effects to wear off? Thanks for any insights!
I’ve been on Adderall XR for a while and the dizziness and trouble sleeping are common at the beginning. It took about a week for me to adjust. Definitely talk to your doctor if it persists.
I personally didn’t experience any of the serious side effects listed, but I did have trouble with restlessness and feeling excitable. It got better over time, but it was tough at first.
I've had friends who have gone through the same thing and they ended up just switching to a different drug.
