Erythromycin Ophth Oint 1gm Sgl/use: Effective but concerning side effects
I've been prescribed ERYTHROCIN Ophthalmic Ointment for pink eye, and while it seems to be helping, I can't help but be concerned about the potential side effects. I've had a couple of mild allergic reactions to antibiotics in the past, so I am a bit nervous. The possible side effects list is daunting and It's been challenging to find personal accounts online. Has anyone else had experience with this, for better or for worse?
It's a bummer that this can have really bad reactions, but it's effective and the risks are worth it for something like pink eye.
I used this for my newborn to prevent eye infections, and it worked like a charm! No side effects at all.
This stuff is great for pink eye, but it's really important to use it as directed. I had a friend who didn't follow the instructions and ended up with a much worse infection.
Make sure to keep the tube clean and avoid contaminating the ointment. Hygiene is key when dealing with eye infections.
That's true. Always good to follow the doctor's instructions to the letter. It's all about minimizing risks.
Be careful with this stuff. It's strong and can make your eyes really irritated. I have to go in and get it checked out to see why it's happening to me.
