Doxylamine/Pyridoxine 10-10mg Tabs: My experience with this magic pill for morning sickness!
I've been trying out Doxylamine/Pyridoxine 10-10mg Tabs for my morning sickness and so far, it's been a lifesaver. As a first-time mom, I was desperate for something to ease the nausea and vomiting that hit me like a freight train every morning. I started taking it as soon as my doctor prescribed it, and within a couple of days, I felt a noticeable improvement. It's amazing how something so simple can make such a big difference. I was scared at first about the side effects, especially the part about feeling sleepy, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought. I take my pill before bed, and it makes me a bit drowsy, so I sleep better. I only wish I had known about this sooner! Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm curious to know if others found it as helpful or if you found different remedies that worked just as well.
I'm 7 weeks pregnant and just started taking these. I felt so nauseous that I could barely eat and I was so worried about my baby not getting enough nutrients, but these pills have been a godsend. I'm feeling much better now!
I'm glad I found this thread. I've been so miserable with morning sickness and didn't know what to do. I was super reluctant to take any medications, but my doctor swore by these and said they are perfectly safe. I'm going to give them a try. How long did it take for you to notice a difference?
I was a little hesitant to try these because I got worried about the antihistamine part. I was afraid the drowsiness would be too much to handle on top of the pregnancy fatigue. But I've found it to be manageable. I just take it before bedtime. I used to wake up quite a few times throughout the night. I didn't know that pregnancy insomnia was a thing but Doxylamine has actually improved my sleep more than anything else. I have to admit, I'm actually getting pretty good rest at night now.
I'm on my second pregnancy and had no problems with morning sickness the first time, but this time around, it's been brutal. I tried ginger candies, crackers by the bed, and even acupressure bands, but nothing worked. These pills have been a lifesaver. I'm going to recommend them to my friends who are also pregnant and have been struggling with morning sickness.
These pills are the best! I started taking them during my first trimester, and they really helped with my morning sickness. It was so bad I would get nauseous and throw up even at the smell of food. It was so difficult to stand in my kitchen. No more morning sickness for me!
Has anyone else felt a little drowsy after taking these? I'm really worried that it will affect my work. I have to work a lot when I'm pregnant, so I don't know if I'll be able to take this medication while working.
