Concerns Over Multi-Vita-f 0.5mg Chew Tabs: Is This Vitamin+Fluoride Supplement Safe?
I started giving my 5-year-old daughter Multi-Vita-f 0.5mg Chew Tabs a few weeks ago as recommended by her dentist. But I've seen some chatter online and heard a few scary stories about allergies and more. The tablets have a lot of vitamins, but I'm worried about the fluoride part. It's supposed to be good for teeth, but what about the rest of it? I've seen people mentioning a few side effects like upset stomach, vomiting, and stuff that sounds even worse. The doctor didn't really say much about side effects, so how common are these really? I switched from a standard supplement, so this has me a bit worried. Anybody else having similar questions?
The fluoride content is really low, so it should be a good supplement all in all. I'd just recommend getting a professional's take and possibly even a second opinion.
