Concerned Parent: Any Serious Side Effects from Sod Fluoride 0.55mg (0.25mg) Chewable Tablets?
I've been giving my 5 year old the fluoride chewable tablets, as recommended by the dentist, but I'm a little worried based on some of the side effects I've read about online. I've been reading that it can cause severe allergic reactions. Can anyone tell me more about this? What should I do if these symptoms appear?
I've also heard that it can cause a severe stomach upset and vomiting. Since I don't want to be in a situation where we are dealing with both tooth issues and stomach issues, I wanted to get some perspective from other parents who have dealt with this..
