Cipro 250mg/5ml Suspension: My Experience with Side Effects and Advice
I recently finished a course of Cipro 250mg/5ml Suspension to treat a urine infection, and while it was effective, I experienced some side effects that were quite unpleasant. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this medication? I'm curious to know if my side effects were normal or if I should be concerned. I had some digestive issues, including diarrhea and stomach cramps. I also felt extremely tired and had a bit of muscle pain. It was a bit challenging, but I know it could be a lot worse. I just want to make sure I can avoid these issues the next time so I can focus on feeling well. I'd love to hear from someone who can share experiences or advice on how to better manage these side effects.
I had to stop taking Cipro because I developed a severe skin reaction. It was really scary, but my doctor said it was a rare side effect. I was relieved that it wasn't something more serious, but it was still a lot to go through.
I had a severe allergic reaction to Cipro, but it was so rare and scary. I thought I was having trouble breathing when I woke up in the night. Immediate trip to the ER helped to get it resolved.
I think it's important to stay hydrated. Drink as much as you can. Plus, eating foods that are gentle on the stomach helps a lot. Maybe consider yogurt or some other probiotics.
I had a similar experience with Cipro. The diarrhea was the worst part for me. I ended up having to take Imodium to control it. Also, I felt really weak and tired, like I couldn't even get out of bed some days. It's tough, but hopefully, it won't be necessary to take it again.
I sensed some foul odor coming from my mouth. I had to ask my doctor for an antimicrobial mouthwash.
I get the worst light sensitivity and sunburns while taking it. I sweared off Cipro the next time I had a choice.
I feel your pain. I got a severe skin rash after taking those. I had to stop because it almost got to the point of hospitalization.
I had some issues with imbalance and vertigo, and I felt kind of disoriented.
Did your doctor mention getting a flu shot while taking antibiotics? I was advised it could help keep your immune system from being overwhelmed.
Unreal, right? It's crazy how different people react to the same medication. Some people get lucky and have no side effects, while others have it rough.
