Chlorzoxazone 375mg Tablets: My miraculous muscle relaxant, but what are the risks?
Hi everyone, I've been prescribed Chlorzoxazone 375mg Tablets for muscle spasms and it's been a lifesaver. However, I'm a bit concerned about the side effects. I've read that it can cause severe allergic reactions and even liver problems. Has anyone else experienced anything serious? I want to be prepared, but I also don't want to worry too much. What does all of this mean for me?
I was prescribed this after a bad car accident. It was a miracle drug for me. I had a serious muscle spasm in my back that made it impossible to move. After taking Chlorzoxazone, I was able to finally relax and get some relief. I also had some nausea, but it faded after a couple of hours.
I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. My skin started to blister and I felt like I couldn't breathe. Went to the ER and they hooked me up to an IV drip to flush it out of my system. Never again for me.
I'm with the people that say it's been a miracle worker. What's amazed me the most though is that it doesn't make me feel all groggy like other muscle relaxants. I can get my work done and still feel normal.
Did anyone else's doctor tell them to take it with food? Mine said that's the best way to avoid stomach issues. Personally, I take it with a big glass of water and a protein bar. And try to stay hydrated all day, too.
I've tried multiple muscle relaxants and this was the only one that didn't make me feel like I was on the verge of a panic attack. The first few times I took it, I was really nervous about all the side effects, but it seems to work fine for me now.
