Cetirizine 5mg Chewable Tablets: Non-Drowsy Allergy Relief or Secret Energy Drain?
Cetirizine 5mg Chewable Tablets are often touted as a non-drowsy antihistamine, but I've been feeling unusually sleepy since I started taking them. I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this side effect, or if it's just me. I'm also curious to know if the chewable form makes any differences in how effective the medication is. I have read that Cetirizine works by blocking histamines, but I don't know enough about it. I have also started feeling tired and weak. Should I be worried and consult a doctor?
I take the regular Cetirizine 10mg and it works great for me. I barely feel any drowsiness. If you're feeling really tired, maybe consider switching to that?

I switched to the chewable ones because my kids had trouble swallowing the regulars. They do make a difference in terms of ease of use, but they taste horrible!
