Cardizem LA 180mg Tablets: How my calcium channel blocker lowered my BP
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and chest pain a few years back, and my doctor prescribed Cardizem LA 180mg to help manage these symptoms. I started taking this medication daily, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. My blood pressure has been stable, and I haven't had a chest pain in months. However, I do experience some side effects like dizziness and fatigue, but I think the benefits outweigh these issues. I'm curious to hear if anyone else has had similar experiences or any tips on managing side effects.
I had to be hospitalized because of some severe dizziness. Just be careful when you are taking it, especially for the first few weeks.
Stopped taking the pills because I didn't feel any difference after 2 weeks. I am now using something else and it's working great!
I've had a similar experience! My doc also prescribed Cardizem LA and my angina has been under control ever since.
Dang, that's scary. How bad were your symptoms? I also experienced some dizziness or fainting, but not to the point of hospitalization.
Dizziness can be annoying, try taking it with food! I can't say it's eliminated the dizziness, but I don't feel as bad as last time.

This is a hot take and I've not found anything afterward, but I had to switch to a different medication because I had some skin reactions. I thought it was worth the risk, but turns out it wasn't. However, side effects are pretty rare!
