This medication is used to treat both high blood pressure and high cholesterol, which are risk factors for heart disease and stroke. I feel like the side effects are manageable. I had some muscle pain at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just listen to your body and talk to your doctor if anything feels off.

I've had some trouble with dizziness, but it's not constant. Just be careful when getting up from a sitting or lying position. It helps to take it easy.
