Bydureon BCise: My experience using this once-weekly injection for type 2 diabetes
I've been on Bydureon BCise for about six months now to manage my type 2 diabetes. I was a little nervous about the weekly injections, but it's actually been quite manageable. The nursing team at the diabetes clinic taught me how to use the injector, and it really isn't any harder than using an insulin pen. I've noticed a big difference in my blood sugar levels—my A1C is much lower than before. The only downside is the possible side effects. Has anyone else been on this medication? How do you handle the potential side effects?
My wife tried Bydureon but had to stop because of dizziness. She switched to another medication and it has been working out for her. But on the plus side it was nice not having to take it daily. Be sure to consult your doctor thoroughly.
