Buspirone 7.5mg Tablets: Personal Experiences and Side Effects
I recently started taking Buspirone 7.5mg Tablets for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Unlike some other medications, it's not a benzodiazepine and doesn't cause sedation or dependence. However, I'm curious about other people's experiences, especially with side effects. I've heard it can have some serious side effects in rare cases. I would like to know more about the experiences and side-effects people have had while taking it. This seems like a good place to gather some helpful information.
I've been on Buspirone for six months now, and it's been a game-changer. It took a few weeks to kick in, but now I feel much calmer and more in control. I experienced some initial dizziness and upset stomach, but those went away after a couple of weeks.
I have been taking Buspirone for over a year now and the only negative reaction I have experienced is a headache, which I get alleviated with some paracetamol. No restlessness what so ever.
I switched to Buspirone from Xanax, and it's been a huge improvement. No more drowsiness during the day, and I don't feel dependent on the medication. Highly recommend it to anyone with GAD.
I went on Buspirone because I'm terrified of benzos. I don't want to get dependent nor do I want to feel sluggish. I feel like this is one of the best choices for me.
Buspirone was not for me. I had a really bad reaction and had to stop taking it. I was breaking out in hives and my throat was tight — went straight to the ER because I couldn't breathe! Definitely not my ideal solution.
I read that Buspirone doesn’t have as many side effects as some other medications. Is that true? I’m hesitant to try it because I've had bad experiences with other meds.
Buspirone helped with my panic attacks, but I did have some weird movements and tremors. I talked to my doctor, and she told me it was a rare side effect. I ended up switching to something else, but it was worth a try.
Interesting post, so how long did it take to feel better from the hives? Did you get any long-lasting issues from the ER visit?
I thought Buspirone was only available in higher doses. I'm glad to hear that 7.5mg tablets are an option. What dose did you start on?
This is not a good answer. I would never recommend this medication to anyone. I had a really bad experience with Buspirone. I felt so restless and couldn't control my body movements. It was terrifying. But that's probably a rare side effect.
