Benazepril/hctz 5/6.25mg Tablets: Experiences, Side Effects, and More
I recently started taking Benazepril/hctz 5/6.25mg Tablets to manage my high blood pressure. I've been curious about other people's experiences with this medication, especially regarding side effects. The combination of benazepril and hydrochlorothiazide seems to be effective, but I've heard mixed reviews. Has anyone else had issues with dizziness, fatigue, or persistent cough? I had a persistent cough for a couple of months but my doctor said it's a common side effect and it eventually went away. Just stay hydrated and it should be fine. But if it persists, definitely talk to your doctor.
Seriously though, if you start experiencing weird skin changes, get it checked out. My cousin had a mole that changed shape and it was skin cancer. Better safe than sorry.
Be wary of the sun, folks! Hydrochlorothiazide can make you more sensitive to UV rays. I burned like crazy on a cloudy day once. Slather on the sunscreen and stay covered.
