Azithromycin 600mg Tablets: What Are the Urgent Side Effects I Should Be Aware Of?
I've been prescribed Azithromycin 600mg Tablets and I'm a bit nervous. The list of possible side effects is pretty scary, and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced any of these or has advice on how to handle them. I know it's rare, but I want to be prepared. Has anyone had issues with severe allergic reactions or changes in vision? Any tips on recognizing these urgent side effects would be greatly appreciated. Also, what do I do if I think I'm having a bad reaction? Do I need to go to the hospital or can I just call my doctor? And what about the less urgent side effects? Anybody here have some stomach issues, headaches, or weird hearing changes that went away?
I was on Azithromycin and had some pretty bad stomach issues. Definitely call your doctor if you feel sick
You should always go to the ER if you feel like you can't breathe. That's not worth playing around with.
I had a rash after taking these. Scared the heck out of me but turns out it was just an allergic reaction.
I’ve had Azithromycin a few times and never had any issues. I always take it with food, though.
What's the fasting rule, if you are taking this with food?
I got really bad diarrhea from Azithromycin. Make sure you stay hydrated if that happens to you.

If you notice any changes in your hearing and vision I would definitely talk to your doctor ASAP. That is not normal.
