Anyone have experience with Sandostatin LAR Depot 20mg Inj Kit for tumor symptoms?
I've recently been prescribed Sandostatin LAR Depot 20mg Inj Kit to manage symptoms caused by a tumor in my gut. I've read about the possible side effects, but I'm curious to know if anyone here has personal experience with this medication? How did you handle the side effects? Did you notice any improvement in your symptoms? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I've had a few rounds of these injections and it has been a mixed bag. The first couple of times, I got a really bad headache and felt dizzy. But after a while, it started to settle down. Stick with it if you can, but always inform your doctor about how you’re coping.
Has anyone had gallbladder issues? That's one of the side effects I'm most worried about.
My mom was on this med and it helped a lot with the tumor symptoms. She did have some stomach issues but managed them with diet changes. Hang in there! We’re rooting for you.
That's a relief to hear. I was worried about the long-term side effects. Have you had any serious reactions to the medication?
