Anyone have experience with Bupivacaine 0.5% Inj, 30ml for local anesthesia? Share your thoughts!
I've been prescribed Bupivacaine 0.5% Inj, 30ml for an upcoming procedure and I'm a bit nervous. I've heard it's great for numbing specific areas but the list of side effects is pretty scary. Has anyone used this before? How did it go? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, on a lighter note, does anyone have any funny stories about being numb during a procedure? Anything to lighten the mood!
I had a bad reaction to it. Started feeling really dizzy and my heart was racing. Had to go to the ER. Be careful!
Bupivacaine is great, but make sure you're not allergic to any of the ingredients. I had a friend who broke out in hives. Scary stuff.
I had no side effects at all! Felt great during and after the procedure. Everyone's different, so don't assume the worst.
Be prepared for some weird sensations. I felt like my leg was asleep for hours after the procedure, but it was worth it to avoid the pain.
Did anyone else feel like they were floating? Weirdest sensation ever, but at least I wasn't in pain.
