Anyone have experience with Brixadi 96mg/0.27ml Pf Syringe Kit for OUD treatment?

I've been prescribed Brixadi for my opioid use disorder. It's an injectable buprenorphine given once a week or once a month to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Has anyone else used this? What's your experience with side effects, especially the serious ones listed? I'm particularly nervous about injection site reactions and serotonin syndrome. Any tips or personal stories would be really helpful.

Good luck, everyone. Just remember, you're not alone in this fight. If you're struggling, reach out to your doctor or a support group. We're all in this together.

Don't forget, Brixadi is just one part of the battle. Make sure you're also getting the psychological support you need. It's a team effort to stay in recovery.

Serotonin syndrome is no joke. I had a bad reaction when I started Brixadi because I was still taking another medication. Had to go to the ER, and it was terrifying. Make sure to talk to your doctor about all the meds you're taking, I've been careful about new medications since.

I've been on Brixadi for a few months now. The injection site reactions were a bit worrying at first, but my doctor said they're pretty normal. Just make sure to rotate injection sites and keep an eye out for any signs of infection. As for serious side effects, I haven't experienced any, but I'm always careful to monitor my symptoms.

I've found the Brixadi to be really helpful in managing my cravings. The side effects have been pretty manageable so far. Just a bit of dizziness and some minor stomach issues but nothing too bad. Make sure to follow your doctor's advice closely and report any issues. This medication has been a game-changer.

I had no idea Brixadi could cause serotonin syndrome. That's scary stuff. I'm glad I read this thread before starting my treatment.

I wish I'd known about the injection site reactions before starting. They can be pretty nasty. Make sure you're prepared for that part.

Did your doctor explain the whole low blood sugar thing? That's a bit worrying, I didn't know that was a side effect.

I've had some trouble with constipation, but my doctor said it's a common side effect. Just make sure to stay hydrated and maybe talk to your doctor about a stool softener. Not a fun topic, but important to mention.

Has anyone else felt like their vision changed a bit? I've noticed some issues with my sight, so wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
