Anyone have experience with Aminophyllin 25mg/ml Inj, 20ml for severe asthma attacks?
I've recently been prescribed Aminophyllin 25mg/ml Inj, 20ml for severe asthma attacks. I've heard it can be quite effective in opening up the airways, but I'm also a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Also, any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated!
I had an allergic reaction to this medication. It was scary, but thankfully I was in the hospital. Keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction if you're taking this.
My doctor prescribed aminophylline after my inhaler wasn't cutting it. I don't have any side effects, and I can breathe again. It's a lifesaver for me.
Aminophyllin saved me during a severe asthma attack. I felt like I couldn't breathe, and the ER gave me this shot. Within minutes, I could breathe again. No side effects for me!
I've used Aminophyllin a few times when my asthma was really bad. It does help open up the airways quickly, but I had some pretty bad headaches afterwards. Make sure to talk to your doctor about managing any side effects.
Be careful with this stuff. I had a reaction that made me really dizzy and my heart was racing. Definitely call your doctor if you feel any of those urgent side effects.
Aminophyllin's a mixed bag. It works fast, but the side effects can be brutal. Make sure you're in a safe place when you get it, just in case.
Side effects are no joke with this one. I had really bad cramps and my heartbeat was all over the place. Definitely something you want to monitor closely.
This medication needs to be given by a doctor and it’s usually given to people in the hospital. Don't try to give this to yourself at home.
I had to use this once during a severe exacerbation of COPD. It helped but I noticed increased heartbeat and irritability. Definitely something that should be administered by a professional.
