Anyone else had a severe allergic reaction to Naftin 2% Cream? - Athlete's Foot, Jock Itch, Ringworm
I started using Naftin 2% Cream to treat my athlete's foot and noticed some mild irritation at the site where I applied the medication. However, I noticed some severe allergic reactions such as itching, redness, and even some hives. I’m not sure if it's worth continuing the treatment or if I should seek medical help. I want to know if anyone else had a similar experience. Is this normal or should I be worried? I’ve looked up the possible side effects, but I’m still not sure what’s going on. What experiences have others had with this cream? Any advice would be appreciated Thanks!
You should definitely stop using it if you’re experiencing an allergic reaction. The irritated skin is a warning sign. Go to the doctor and get something else.

I had a similar reaction to Naftin. I stopped using it immediately and saw my doctor the next day. She prescribed me something else.
I used Naftin last year and it worked great, no issues whatsoever. I used it for ringworm and it cleared up in a couple of weeks.
I know someone who had a similar reaction and they were given a different prescription. I'm not sure if everyone has that reaction, but it is probably good to talk to a medical professional.
Never heard of this before, but I had a friend who used Naftin and had a similar experience. He had to switch to something else.
