Anyone else feel jittery after taking Xanax XR 0.5mg Tablets? Is it normal?
I was recently prescribed Xanax XR 0.5mg for my panic disorder, and while it has helped with the panic attacks, I'm feeling a bit jittery and restless sometimes. I thought this medication was supposed to calm me down? I haven't had any of the serious side effects listed, but this jitteriness is concerning. Anyone else experienced this? How long before it settles down? My doctor said it would get better, but I'm not sure what to expect. Should I be worried or just give it more time?
That's not normal. Maybe you're having an adverse reaction. Call your doctor ASAP!
I felt the same way. I tried to push through it but ended up switching to a different medication. Might be worth talking to your doc about other options.
Give it time. My doc said it can take a few weeks to really kick in.
I think the jitteriness might be from the withdrawal of the anxiety, rather than the medication, but please consult your doctor
This is my first day on it and I feel the same. Good to know I'm not alone.
