I'm planning a trip to a malaria-prone area and my doctor prescribed Malarone. I've heard about some serious side effects. Has anyone had any issues with this drug?

I got really sick with a fever and peeling skin. Had to go to the emergency room. Not worth the risk.

I had to stop taking it because of severe stomach pain. Consult your doctor regularly.

Had a mild rash, but nothing severe. Just keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms.

Be careful, I had some strange dreams while on Malarone. But nothing too serious.

Dizzy spells were awful. You might want to consider alternatives.

I wouldn't recommend it for trips longer than 2 weeks. The side effects got too much for me.
