Anybody used Salicylic Acid 6% Foam for psoriasis? Share your experiences!
I've been struggling with psoriasis for years and my dermatologist recently prescribed Salicylic Acid 6% Foam. I've seen mixed reviews online and am a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the rare but serious ones. Has anyone here used it and seen positive results? Or maybe some of you had to deal with harsh side effects? I want to hear all your stories, good and bad. Let's discuss how to apply it correctly and if there are any tips to minimize irritation. Also, are there any specific lotions or creams that help with the dryness after application?
I've used it for seborrheic dermatitis and it worked wonders. No dryness or major irritation for me. Just make sure to follow the directions and use a light moisturizer afterwards. No urgent side effects here, thankfully. It took a few days to notice the results but they were well worth it.

I've used it for a week now and I can say that the results are promising. I did a patch test first and had no reaction so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. But I know everyone's different. I recommend doing this if you're unsure.
Has anyone tried combining it with other topical treatments? I'm thinking something to combat the dryness.
