Annovera Vaginal Ring: Pros, Cons, and Personal Experiences
I recently started using the Annovera Vaginal Ring for contraception and wanted to hear from others who have used it. How does it compare to other birth control methods? What side effects have you experienced, and how have you managed them? Also, curious about the long-term effects and any tips for insertion and removal. Share your thoughts and advice!
I've been using Annovera for a year now, and the only side effect I've had is occasional spotting. It's been really convenient, and I like that it only needs to be changed every 21 days. I did have some initial concern about insertion, but there are tons of videos online that helped me figure it out. Highly recommend!!
If you're considering Annovera, definitely talk to your doctor about any pre-existing conditions. I had some concerns about my blood pressure, but my doctor gave me the green light. Just be aware of the symptoms for high blood pressure too, like severe headaches or dizziness.
I had to stop using Annovera because it caused some really bad headaches for me. I tried taking pain relievers and staying hydrated, but nothing helped. Ended up going back to the pill.
Has anyone else had issues with toxic shock syndrome? That's a scary one to think about. I'm considering switching to something else because of it.
Forget the toxic shock stuff, can someone explain why it's not recommended to go on this while pregnant?
