Altreno 0.05% Lotion 20gm: My Journey with Tretinoin and Acne
I've been using Altreno 0.05% Lotion for about two months now, and I've seen some promising results. As someone who has struggled with acne for years, I was hesitant to try yet another topical treatment. The lotion is easy to apply and doesn’t leave a sticky residue, which is a big plus. However, I’ve experienced some side effects like dryness and redness, but nothing too severe. I’ve been following the instructions closely and using it every other day to minimize irritation. Has anyone else tried Altreno? I've had a great experience with Altreno. It's taken about 3 months to see a difference, but my skin is way clearer. I had to reduce the frequency of use, though, because every night was too much for my face. A few nights a week is now what works for me.
Be prepared for the purging phase. It's rough, but worth it in the end. I wish I had known about this before I started. It's like my skin decided to have a big ol' party and kick out every zit at once, but it's been mostly smooth sailing since.

I had to stop using it because it caused my skin to peel so badly. The burning and redness were bearable but peeling was not! I wish I'd known what I was getting into
I’ve been using it for a week and my skin is so sensitive! I had to stop using it for a few days and consult my doctor. She suggested I use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer after every application. I'll give it another shot.
