Absorica LD 16mg Capsules: Life-Changing Acne Treatment or Too Risky?
I've been prescribed Absorica LD 16mg Capsules for severe acne that hasn't responded to other treatments. I'm really hoping this works, but I'm also scared of the side effects. Have any of you taken this medication? What was your experience like? Were the side effects as bad as they sound? Is it worth it? My dermatologist didn't go into much detail.
Absorica saved my life. I had cystic acne for years, and nothing else worked. I was depressed and anxious all the time because of it. Now, my skin is almost completely clear! The side effects were annoying, but manageable. Just do your research and talk to your doctor about any concerns.
I had a friend who took Absorica and ended up with really bad stomach issues. She had to stop taking it. It's scary stuff. Make sure you know what you're getting into. And, oh, keep away from the sun. It makes everything worse.
I wish I could go back to Topical stuff, but I've tried everything else. My dermatologist said Absorica is my last resort. I hope it works. Fingers crossed!
I've heard the birth control pill can interact with Absorica. Maybe ask your dermatologist about other options?
Have you thought about other treatments? Topical stuff? I had really bad acne, and my dermatologist prescribed some heavy-duty topical creams. They worked better than I thought they would and didn't have all the scary side effects.
